Alles auf Rot is a German crime thriller following Erich Kessel, a former narcotics officer released from prison after serving time for drug trafficking. Grieving his recently deceased daughter and estranged from his wife Claire, Kessel is determined to rebuild his life with a bartending job arranged by his old colleague Mario Diller. His fragile fresh start unravels when a young drug dealer and his fiancée—daughter of imprisoned Syrian crime boss Walid Schukri—are murdered. Schukri offers Kessel substantial money to investigate the killings, tempting the broke ex-cop into a morally compromised investigation that blurs the line between justice and criminality. Caught between redemption and desperation, Kessel must navigate dangerous underworld connections while protecting his second chance at freedom.
