At the Jersey Shore is a comedy about Joe Lombardi, a restless twenty-something stuck in a dead-end newspaper job in suburban New Jersey. His editor offers him a promotion to a prestigious New York paper on one condition: write a compelling article about the Jersey Shore dating scene. Joe hasn't visited since childhood and dismisses the area's culture, but he reluctantly heads down to investigate. There he reconnects with his best friend Danny, who hunts for a wife in the clubs; Marc, a transformed high school acquaintance now living a wild lifestyle; and Ashley, his boss's free-spirited niece with secret fashion design ambitions. As Joe documents these colorful characters, he discovers unexpected depth in the Shore community and begins reassessing his own life and priorities, ultimately finding the growth he didn't know he needed.
