Streetheart(1998)

Streetheart follows Louise, an unemployed Montrealer caught between a critical sister, a married boyfriend she sees once weekly, and the rhythm of the dance studio in her building. Restless and searching for connection, Louise makes an unconventional offer to strangers: one hour of her time, no strings attached, to do whatever they want. What begins as an experiment in human connection spirals into a series of encounters—some tender, some erotic, some heartbreaking. When Louise confides in someone she believes is a stranger, she discovers he's an undercover reporter who fears her experiment is heading toward tragedy. The film explores intimacy, vulnerability, and the risks of opening yourself completely to the unknown.
