Charge Forward is a war film following Yang Gensi, a Chinese military commander tasked with defending a critical position at the Chosin Reservoir against relentless assaults from the U.S. Marine Corps. As his team faces eight successive waves of attacks, ammunition dwindles and casualties mount. Gensi must navigate impossible choices, weighing the survival of his remaining soldiers against the strategic importance of holding their ground.
