Falsch(1987)

Falsch is a German film that follows Joe, the last surviving member of the Fasch family, as he returns to Berlin after forty years in New York. Landing at a small country airport at dusk, Joe arrives for a reunion that transcends the living world. Waiting for him are family members lost to the Holocaust, those who emigrated with him in 1938, and relatives who rebuilt their lives in postwar Berlin. Among them is Lilli, daughter of a Nazi official and Joe's first love, who died in the bombing of the city.
