La jaula de oro is a Spanish-language thriller series following Álex Moncada, an American screenwriter whose wife Carolina dies under mysterious circumstances just days after their wedding. Wrongly imprisoned for a woman's murder during a business trip, Álex escapes during a prison fire and goes underground to uncover the truth behind Carolina's death. His investigation leads him to Carolina's family, including her twin sister Oriana, as he navigates a dangerous web of secrets and deception.
