Pupipo!(2013)

Pupipo! is an anime series about Himeji Wakaba, a fifth-grade girl who sees supernatural spirits invisible to everyone else—mostly malevolent ones that harm those around her. Isolated and friendless, Wakaba lives a lonely existence until her worried parents promise to let her keep whatever creature she brings home next. She arrives with Pupipo, a mysterious pink monster that shields her from the dark entities she encounters. Rather than reject the strange companion, her parents honor their word. Pupipo becomes Wakaba's protector and unlikely bridge to friendship, helping her connect with an occult-loving transfer student and navigate bullying. With Pupipo by her side, Wakaba's world transforms from one of fear and loneliness into something brighter and more hopeful.
