MosGaz. Delo N7: Katran is a Soviet crime drama set in 1978 Moscow. When a young gambler and a colonel are found dead at a dacha, Major Cherkasov's team uncovers a trail leading to an underground casino where the woman lost a fortune. To infiltrate the operation, Cherkasov sends undercover officer Sonya Timofeeva into the katran, where she meets Boris, a pianist working at the venue. A passionate romance blooms between them, but when Sonya witnesses Boris commit a violent crime, their connection becomes dangerous. Caught between duty and desire, Boris must find a way to protect her from the criminal world closing in around them.
