A Woman to Remember(1949)

A Woman to Remember is a soap opera that aired on the DuMont Television Network from February to July 1949. The series began as a daytime program before shifting to primetime slots at 7:30 pm ET, Monday through Friday, starting in May. Created and written by John Haggart and produced and directed by Bob Steele, the show ran without a sponsor and followed Captain Video and His Video Rangers in the network's schedule. Though short-lived, A Woman to Remember represents an early chapter in American television's exploration of serialized drama during the medium's formative years.
