Midnight Caller is a crime drama series following Jack Killian, an ex-cop turned late-night radio host who can't resist getting personally involved in his listeners' troubles. Each night, callers phone in with their darkest secrets and most desperate pleas, and Jack finds himself drawn into their cases—investigating murders, tracking missing persons, and confronting dangerous criminals. The show balances the intimate confessional space of the radio booth with gritty street-level detective work. Jack's past in law enforcement gives him instincts the regular police lack, but his involvement often puts him in harm's way. Midnight Caller explores the thin line between helping and meddling, compassion and obsession, as Jack navigates San Francisco's underbelly one call at a time.
