Nile Perch Girls' Association is a Japanese drama series following Shimura Eriko, a successful career woman at a major trading company who struggles with a surprising void in her life: she has no female friends. Beautiful and accomplished, Eriko finds solace in secretly reading the social media diary of Maruo Shoko, a housewife influencer her own age. When the two women meet by chance in their Tokyo neighborhood, they discover their shared loneliness and quickly form a bond.
