Kyoro-chan(1999)

Kyoro-chan is an animated series following a doctor who discovers a mysterious newborn bird on Angel Island and forms a deep bond with the creature. The two embark on a journey across the world together, but their plans take a tragic turn when a storm shipwrecks them three years later. While Kyoro-chan reaches the safety of Angel Island, the doctor vanishes without a trace. Left alone on the island, Kyoro-chan begins a new chapter of life, holding onto hope and prayer that his lost companion will somehow return. The series explores themes of friendship, loss, and resilience as Kyoro-chan navigates his solitary existence.
