Haru's Curse(2021)

Haru's Curse follows Natsumi, a woman grieving the death of her younger sister Haru, who dies at nineteen from illness. Haru had been engaged to Togo, a man from a wealthy, status-conscious family. After Haru's death, Togo's parents pressure Natsumi to date him instead. Though she initially refuses, Togo agrees to his family's wishes. Natsumi then asks Togo to revisit the places he once took Haru, a request that surprises him but which he accepts. As they spend time together, Natsumi finds herself drawn to Togo—yet struggles with guilt over her growing feelings for her late sister's fiancé. The series explores themes of loss, obligation, and the complicated emotions that arise when attraction blooms in the shadow of grief.
