Films BYkids(2016)

Films BYkids is a documentary series that pairs teenagers from around the world with professional filmmakers to create short personal documentaries exploring universal themes. Each 30-minute episode follows young filmmakers as they investigate issues that matter to them, building understanding across cultures and fostering global empathy. Ashley Judd narrates the series, guiding viewers through the stories of adolescents discovering their own voices through the medium of film. A collaboration between THIRTEEN and the nonprofit BYkids, the series demonstrates how documentary filmmaking can bridge cultural divides and encourage meaningful conversations about shared human experiences.
