Curry and Chips(1969)

Curry and Chips is a British sitcom that aired on ITV in 1969, produced by London Weekend Television. Set in the factory of Lillicrap Ltd, the series follows workplace dynamics and immigrant experience through comedy. Spike Milligan stars as Kevin O'Grady, an Asian immigrant worker, alongside Eric Sykes as the foreman, Norman Rossington as the shop steward, and Kenny Lynch and Sam Kydd in supporting roles. Johnny Speight, writer of Till Death Us Do Part, penned the scripts based on an idea by Milligan. The series marked London Weekend Television's first colour sitcom, and all episodes survive in the archive.
