Guilty Flag is a Japanese drama series following Ryōsuke Sagara, an ordinary shipping company employee whose wife and two children vanish without a trace. Left to navigate media scrutiny and public suspicion, Ryōsuke becomes desperate to uncover the truth behind their disappearance. With help from his coworker Mizuho Ninomiya, he pursues leads in a case that offers no obvious answers. As the investigation deepens, Ryōsuke finds himself caught between his role as a grieving family man and an unwilling figure of public fascination. The series explores how an ordinary life can unravel when tragedy strikes, examining the toll of mystery, media attention, and the search for answers that may never come.
