Kraft Hockeyville is a Canadian competition series that pits communities across the country against each other to prove their devotion to ice hockey. Developed by CBC Sports and backed by Kraft Foods, the NHL, and the NHL Players' Association, the show celebrates grassroots hockey culture from coast to coast. The competition launched in 2006 as a full reality series on CBC Television, then shifted to shorter segments within Hockey Night in Canada's Saturday broadcasts starting in 2007. Each year, towns compete for recognition and prizes, showcasing the passion that defines hockey in Canada's smallest rinks and most dedicated fan bases.
