Rapa(2022)

Rapa is a Spanish crime thriller that begins when high school teacher Tomás discovers the bloodied body of his hometown's mayoress on local cliffs. Obsessed with solving the case, he becomes the prime suspect and launches his own investigation, much to the frustration of local cop Maite. Their uneasy partnership draws them close to the truth: the killer is Norma, Tomás' physiotherapist, who murdered the mayoress in rage over a long-buried secret that destroyed her family. But fate intervenes, and Norma escapes detection. Emboldened by her narrow escape, she strikes again. Now Maite and Tomás must reunite to hunt a murderer hiding in plain sight, unaware how dangerously close they've already come to the truth. The series explores obsession, small-town secrets, and the thin line between justice and vengeance.
