ATRI -My Dear Moments- is an anime series set in a flooded future where rising seas have submerged much of human civilization. Natsuki, a disillusioned young man who lost his mother and leg years ago, returns to his childhood home now half-underwater. Inheriting his oceanologist grandmother's ship, submarine, and debts, he accepts help from Catherine, a mysterious debt collector, to search the sunken ruins of his grandmother's laboratory for a rumored treasure. Instead of riches, they discover Atri—a humanoid robot awakening from a coffin on the ocean floor. Despite her artificial nature, Atri displays genuine emotions and human-like consciousness. As Natsuki and Atri embark on their journey together, the series explores themes of loss, connection, and what it means to be human in a world transformed by environmental catastrophe.
