Owner is a Russian drama series following Egor Tarantsev, a former professional boxer forced to retire after a medical diagnosis threatens his life. Returning to his seaside hometown for his mother's funeral, Egor confronts the gap between the man he became—a champion who fought in Las Vegas—and the life he abandoned two decades earlier. Once a promising amateur, his career soared until doctors delivered an ultimatum: stop fighting or risk irreversible damage, from stroke to death. Now stripped of the ring and the identity it gave him, Egor must navigate grief, regret, and the possibility of rebuilding in the place he left behind.
