Flambards(1979)

Flambards is a British period drama following young orphan Christina Parsons, who arrives at her uncle's grand country estate in early 20th-century England. There she encounters her two cousins: Mark, a dissolute hunter devoted to tradition, and William, an aviation enthusiast drawn to the modern world. As Christina navigates class divisions and rural life, she falls in love with one cousin and impulsively marries. When the First World War erupts and her husband is called to service, Christina must manage the sprawling estate alone, caught between the old world and the new. The series explores duty, social change, and personal resilience against the backdrop of a nation transformed by war.
