Son of Hero(2023)

Son of Hero is a historical drama series set during the Southern Song Dynasty. Yue Lei, the rebellious second son of legendary general Yue Fei, seeks revenge after his father and brother are killed. When his assassination attempt on the traitor Qin Hui fails, Yue Lei pursues evidence of Qin Hui's treachery instead. As he travels through the imperial city and witnesses the suffering of ordinary people, his perspective shifts. Caught between personal vengeance and duty to his nation, Yue Lei gradually steps into his father's legacy as a protector of the realm. The series follows his transformation from a vengeful son into a leader willing to sacrifice for his country amid court intrigue and political upheaval.
