Justice Sung Begins is a Qing-era series following Sung Sai-kit, a sharp-minded man who grew up witnessing corruption within prison walls and lost faith in the legal system. Despite his education, he refuses to become an imperial official, instead living a nomadic life with his brother. When drawn into the notorious Murderous Spider Demoness Case, Sai-kit discovers his talent as a pleader and uncovers the truth. During the investigation, he meets Ling Lung, a skilled fighter working as a brothel bouncer. Their partnership leads to marriage, and Sai-kit commits to a career pursuing justice through the courts. As a pleader, he takes on increasingly complex cases that test his wit, integrity, and resolve to expose the corruption he once thought unstoppable.
