Knightmare(1987)

Knightmare is a British children's adventure game show that aired on CITV from 1987 to 1994. Four young contestants navigate a medieval dungeon together—one plays the blindfolded dungeoneer while the other three guide them through puzzles, traps, and encounters with bizarre characters. The team must solve riddles and overcome obstacles to complete their quest and escape. Pioneering the use of chroma key effects and interactive virtual reality gameplay on television, Knightmare became a cult favourite among viewers during its original run. The show's innovative visual style and unpredictable challenges made it a standout of 1980s children's programming. It was revived for a special episode on YouTube in 2013.
