Last Madame: Sisters of the Night is a historical drama series set in 1920s Malaya under British colonial rule. Nozomi, a young Japanese woman forced into sex work, rises to become a top karayuki-san while secretly serving as a spy for Japan. She forms a bond with Qing Ling, a Chinese girl escaping her privileged but suffocating family, only to see her betrayed by a lover and thrust into the same brutal world. As British and Japanese intelligence agencies clash, the two women must navigate danger, exploitation, and competing loyalties to survive. Their friendship becomes their only refuge in a patriarchal society determined to control them.
