Hometown of Stars follows Ouyang Yi Xing, a cellist who achieves her dream of joining a top orchestra just as the 2008 Olympic Games approach. When her father falls into a vegetative state, Yi Xing must abandon her musical aspirations to save the family winery he spent decades building. She finds an unexpected ally in Qi Lu, a gifted winemaker who arrives at the foot of Helan Mountain determined to revive the struggling business. Together, they navigate personal sacrifice and professional ambition, working to restore the winery and showcase Chinese wine to the world. The series balances Yi Xing's internal conflict between duty and passion against the backdrop of a family legacy in crisis.
