Axis of Righteousness(2008)

Axis of Righteousness is a Turkish drama series following two newly qualified doctors, Oğuz and Sırma, who return to their hometown with ambitious plans for the future. Their idealism quickly collides with harsh reality when they encounter fierce resistance from two powerful local figures, Doğan and Haşim, who stand in the way of both their personal aspirations and their vision for improving their community. As the doctors navigate professional challenges and personal relationships, they must decide how far they're willing to compromise their principles. The series explores the tension between youthful idealism and entrenched local power, examining what happens when good intentions meet systemic obstacles in a small-town setting.
