Ungeren follows Iben and her boyfriend Alex, central figures at Copenhagen's Youth House, a refuge for young people on the city's margins. When the municipality sells the building to a religious sect called Faderhuset, the residents face an existential threat. Iben pursues political and media pressure to save their sanctuary, while Alex gravitates toward more militant tactics. The series dramatizes the real events surrounding the Youth House's 2007 demolition, capturing a group of young people who refuse to surrender their space and their autonomy. It's a story about resistance, community, and the cost of standing against the system.
