Matt and Jenny is a period series following two English children orphaned during their voyage to Canada in the 1800s. After their mother dies of typhoid fever aboard ship, siblings Matt and Jenny arrive in the New World determined to find their uncle Bill Tanner, who emigrated before them. Their search takes them westward across the Canadian frontier, where they meet Adam Cardston, a mysterious stranger, and Kit, a seasoned woodsman. Together, the unlikely group navigates the harsh wilderness and untamed landscape of early colonial Canada. The series captures their struggle for survival and belonging in a vast, unforgiving land far from home.
