Cornflowers is a Russian drama series that spans decades, beginning in the late 1970s when a popular screen ensemble captures the nation's attention. Lena, a journalism student, infiltrates the group and falls for its charismatic leader, Yuri Vasilkov. When the Cornflowers mysteriously vanish from public life, their disappearance becomes an unsolved mystery. Forty-five years later, Lena's daughters and grandson Roma undertake an urgent quest to reunite the missing musicians. Their mission is driven by a singular condition in Lena's will: the band must perform together at a New Year's Eve teleconference on December 31st. As they search for answers across decades, the family uncovers secrets buried since the group's sudden exit from the spotlight.
