Jazr-o Mad(2022)

Jazr-o Mad is an Iranian drama series following Latif, a man who left his hometown of Mahshahr for Tehran years ago to build a life and raise a family. As he approaches retirement, mounting problems threaten his carefully constructed existence, forcing him and his family to confront their past by returning to Mahshahr. The series explores themes of displacement, family obligation, and the consequences of abandoning one's roots. Reza Fayyazi leads the cast as Latif navigates the tension between his established life in the capital and the pull of his origins. The drama unfolds as personal and financial crises push the family toward an unwelcome homecoming, examining what it means to reckon with the choices that shaped their lives.
