French Traveling Companion(2017)

French Traveling Companion is a Russian drama series following Elena Mikhalushkina, a student who travels abroad to identify her father after a fatal plane crash. At the airport, she meets Andrei Egorov, a Russian expat returning home after years abroad, who offers to help her navigate an unfamiliar country and language. What begins as a simple act of kindness takes a dark turn when Elena is attacked by mysterious assailants intent on kidnapping her. Andrei intervenes, saving her life, but the incident raises urgent questions neither can answer. As they're drawn together by circumstance and danger, Elena and Andrei must uncover who wants her and why, racing to stay ahead of forces working in the shadows.
