TV Funhouse(2000)

TV Funhouse is a comedy series that spins off the Saturday Night Live cartoon shorts. Doug hosts a children's show inspired by Pee-wee's Playhouse, announcing a daily theme—Caveman Day, Western Day, Spaceman Day—and inviting his puppet companions, the Anipals, to join in. The felt animals have other priorities. They sneak off to cockfights and brothels, volunteer as lab experiments, and pursue increasingly depraved escapades that subvert every wholesome premise Doug establishes. The show blends absurdist humor with crude puppet antics, creating comedy that operates on two levels: innocent on the surface, anarchic underneath.
