Baai Tujhyapayi is a period drama series set in 1990 in the fictional village of Vesaich Vadgaon, Maharashtra. It follows Ahilya, a determined teenage girl who dreams of becoming a doctor in a community bound by orthodox customs and rigid gender roles. When Ahilya reaches puberty, she must hide this milestone to escape the village's practice of early marriage.
