City Hall(2009)

City Hall is a 2009 South Korean drama series starring Kim Sun-ah and Cha Seung-won. The story follows a low-ranking government clerk who unexpectedly becomes the youngest mayor of the fictional Inju City. She navigates her new role while developing a complicated romance with an ambitious and cynical deputy mayor. Written by Kim Eun-sook and directed by Shin Woo-chul, the series balances political intrigue with personal conflict as the two leads clash over their visions for the city. The drama marked Cha Seung-won's return to television after a six-year absence from the small screen. City Hall aired on SBS for 20 episodes from April to July 2009.
