Brakes

Brakes is a Russian crime series following Nikita, a thirty-year-old man caught between his ex-wife Natasha, who still harbors feelings for him, and his current wife Vika, mother of his child. When drugs are planted on him, Nikita is arrested and imprisoned. The setup reveals a darker scheme: a look-alike agent from the Jonik drug mafia has orchestrated the frame-up to take Nikita's place in court, walking free while an innocent man faces probation. Trapped in prison and unaware of the conspiracy, Nikita must navigate the criminal underworld and uncover the truth behind his arrest before the imposter destroys his life entirely.
