Soul Train(1971)

Soul Train is an American musical variety show that aired in syndication from 1971 to 2006, spanning 35 years and over 1,100 episodes. Created by and hosted by Don Cornelius, the series became a landmark platform for R&B, soul, and hip hop artists, while also featuring funk, jazz, disco, and gospel performers. Soul Train held the distinction of being the longest-running first-run, nationally syndicated program in television history. Production ended after the 2005–06 season, though reruns continued for two additional years.
