Seven of One(1973)

Seven of One is a 1973 BBC2 comedy anthology series starring Ronnie Barker. The show presents seven standalone comedies, each conceived as a potential sitcom pilot. Three of the sketches proved successful enough to develop into full series: Open All Hours, Porterhouse Blue, and The Two Ronnies spinoff material. Originally titled Six of One, Barker had envisioned the project as part of a larger plan that would eventually include a companion series called Half Dozen of the Other. The anthology format allowed the comedian to experiment across different characters and scenarios, showcasing his range as both performer and creative force behind British television comedy during the early 1970s.
