Hillside(1991)

Hillside is a Canadian-American teen drama that aired from 1991 to 1993, known as Fifteen in the United States. Created by John T. Binkley, the series was Nickelodeon's only teenage soap opera, shot on videotape like traditional daytime dramas. Originally developed for Disney Channel as an improvised 13-episode pilot, the project found new life when Nickelodeon and Canadian partners backed the full production. The show aired as Hillside in Canada and Fifteen in the U.S. across its 65-episode run, later syndicated worldwide including in Germany and Israel. The ensemble cast rotated throughout the four seasons and featured early career appearances by Laura Harris, Enuka Okuma, and Ryan Reynolds.
