Time Goes By(2010)

Time Goes By is a 1960s family drama following the Akarsu household as it fractures under the weight of infidelity. Ali, the patriarch, begins a secret affair with Caroline, a Dutch woman, upending the lives of his wife Cemile and their four children: Berrin, a law student; twins Aylin and Mete, both in high school; and five-year-old Osman. As the affair unfolds, the family's bonds deteriorate, forcing each member to confront the consequences of betrayal. Set against the backdrop of mid-century Turkey, Time Goes By explores how one man's choices ripple through generations, testing loyalty, forgiveness, and the fragile foundations of domestic life.
