So You Think You Can Dance(2008)

So You Think You Can Dance is a Belgian-Dutch dance competition series that premiered in the Netherlands in September 2008 before expanding to Flanders a year later. The show follows the franchise format, searching for exceptional dancers across multiple styles through a combination of expert judging and public voting. Contestants progress through auditions and performances, competing for a cash prize, study or work-abroad opportunities, and the title of The Netherlands' Favourite Dancer. Early winners included Ivan Paulovich, Els Smekens, Floris Bosveld, Nina Plantefève-Castryck and Frederic De Smet. Singer Elise van der Horst hosted the first season, with Dennis Weening and An Lemmens taking over as co-hosts from season two onwards. The show airs on RTL 5 and VTM.
