Whispered Words(2009)

Whispered Words follows Murasame Sumika, a high school standout admired for her grades and athletic prowess, who harbors an unrequited crush on her classmate Kazama Ushio. The problem: Ushio has no idea Sumika exists beyond their friendship, and she's drawn exclusively to cute, delicate girls. Sumika, a tough martial artist who helps manage her family's dojo, couldn't be further from Ushio's type. As Ushio enthusiastically recounts her romantic pursuits—none of them involving Sumika—the stoic athlete watches from the sidelines, caught between longing and frustration. When the pair's talent for stumbling into chaos collides with Sumika's hidden feelings, their high school days grow far more complicated.
