Les Misérables(2000)

Les Misérables is a sweeping drama set during the French Revolution, adapted from Victor Hugo's beloved novel. Jean Valjean is released after nineteen years in prison for stealing bread, only to find himself hunted by the relentless policeman Javert, whose obsession with capturing him becomes personal.
