House of Love(2013)

House of Love is a Thai historical drama set in 1905 during King Chulalongkorn's reign, when slavery has just been abolished. The series follows Khun Luang Prap Thamrongnakhra and his two wives as they navigate a rigid household hierarchy. His first wife is beautiful but emotionally distant, while his second wife, a woman from Chiang Mai, is driven by selfish ambition. The two women clash constantly, competing fiercely for their husband's favor and the coveted position of principal wife. Their rivalry intensifies when they must also contend with Mali, a loyal servant wife who poses an unexpected threat to their status. As men rebuild their place in post-slavery society, these women scheme and maneuver within the confines of domestic life, each willing to do whatever it takes to secure power and respect in the household.
