La Señora(2008)

La Señora is a Spanish drama set in 1920s northern Spain, following two lovers torn apart by class divide. Victoria, daughter of a wealthy businessman, and Ángel, born into poverty, share a passionate connection that social convention forbids. Forced to separate, their lives take drastically different paths. Years later, fate reunites them when Victoria has become a formidable businesswoman and Ángel has taken holy orders as a priest. The series explores the enduring tension between love and duty, ambition and faith, as these two former lovers navigate a world that still refuses to let them be together.
