Ängelby is a Swedish drama series following Vera, a mother of two who faces sudden collapse when her husband abandons her and she loses her job simultaneously. Desperate for a fresh start, she accepts work in a new town and relocates with her children. On the drive there, Vera hits a boy with her car and, convinced she's killed him, flees in shock. But as the investigation unfolds, nothing is certain—and Vera's guilt may not be what it seems. The series explores how a single moment can unravel a life already hanging by a thread, and whether the truth ever matches our assumptions about ourselves.
