The Kitazawas: We Mind Our Own Business is a Japanese drama series following Taizo, a middle school principal, and his three accomplished adult children: Hirofumi, a heart surgeon; Chiaki, a lawyer; and Shusaku, an ambitious police officer with a strong sense of justice. When family loyalty clashes with professional ethics, the Kitazawas will do whatever it takes to protect their happiness. Shusaku finds himself caught between his devotion to his family and his duty to uphold the law, forcing difficult choices that test the bonds holding them together. The series explores how far one family will go to preserve their unity, even when doing so means bending the rules.
