Senryu Girl(2019)

Senryu Girl is a comedy series following Yukushiro Nanako, a high school student who communicates exclusively through senryu poetry instead of speaking. Constrained to the traditional 5-7-5 syllable structure, she expresses every thought and emotion through verse. Rather than a limitation, her unique form of communication becomes a charming quirk that defines her high school experience. Alongside her ex-delinquent best friend Busujima Eiji, Nanako navigates daily life and runs the school's Literature Club. The series captures the warmth and humor of their friendship as they embrace the unconventional ways Nanako connects with the world around her.
