School of Pandemonium is a supernatural series about Tanaka Kazuo, a lonely high school student who discovers that his campus transforms into a yokai academy at midnight. Bullied and friendless, Tanaka sees an escape route: he enrolls in the hidden school and poses as a rare mixed-race yokai named Tanaka Ichiotoko, despite his entirely human appearance. His new classmates—genuine supernatural beings—quickly grow suspicious of the ordinary-looking student in their midst. As Tanaka navigates this strange new world, he must maintain his deception while searching for the genuine connection and belonging he's always craved.
