Justice Bao: The First Year is a Chinese historical drama set during the Song Dynasty's Emperor Renzong reign. Bao Zheng takes charge as Kaifeng Prefecture Prefect, assembling a team of skilled investigators—his aide Gongsun Ce, Guard Zhan Zhao, four constables, merchant's daughter Yun Qianyu, and autopsy expert Ji Niannian—to expose corruption and solve complex crimes.
